Tachographs are compulsory in EU goods and large passenger vehicles. This course looks at digital tachographs, the data they record and store and how to interpret the data when it is output.
This course can be taken as a standalone or run in conjunction with TG1001 (Drivers Hours) over a 5 day period.
How the digital tachograph records and stores data. How to printout and how to download the data. Analysis of the data to detect offences.
The examination contains questions on drivers hours it is therefore strongly recommended that students have previously attended TG1001 (Drivers Hours)

Successful candidates will be awarded an IMI certificate.
The course runs twice a year at our South Cerney training centre. Alternatively it can be run in your workplace for up to 12 people. To book contact Yasmin Newman in the faculty office at AiTS to arrange a suitable date.
