C10009 Uncertainty of Measurement in Collision Investigation

Introduction

Uncertainty of Measurement in Collision Investigation has been designed to take the principles of the UKAS Measurement of Uncertainty course and apply it directly to the scence of collision investigation.

This three day residential course will demonstrate how to build uncerainty budgets for various collision investigation techniques.

The course uses Microsoft Excel as the principle tool to build the error budget.

What you will study

AM The Normal Distribution
  Confidence intervals
  Confidence v Coverage
PM Type A and B uncertainties
  Principle of uncertainty budgets
